Some 50 people were killed at the club in Florida in the early hours on Sunday morning.Īnother 53 people were injured in the massacre, which has been described as 'an act of terrorism' by local US police.Īnd now staff at the iconic gay bar the George on South Great Georges Street, have started a fundraising campaign to 'show the world that hate and violence is never the answer.'
